You’ve known Johnny for Awhile
You’ve loved AJ Forever
You’ve supported them Always
Now Both of Them NEED YOUR HELP

Click to see a list of some of our supporters.

AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys initially funded the JNN Foundation. He wanted to help the community that had given so much to him. He funded the JNN Foundation, to help programs, such as VH1 Save the Music Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Lisa Merlin House.

AJ had become very busy in the creative side of the boys last cd and was really not able to contribute much to the foundation. He did contribute several personal appearances for The Save the Music Foundation as they hosted several things in the Los Angeles area.

A board of directors runs the JNN Foundation with the assistance of the executive director. With out the support of AJ's touring we couldn't go on unless we became a public charity. We are a registered nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation. We follow very strict guidelines set by the Internal Revenue Service as set for the public charity businesses. Which means we need to raise money by fundraising and through public donations. One of the ways we chose to help raise funds is to collect used cell phones, empty laser and inkjet cartridges. We then sell these items to companies that recycle them. We then donate a portion of the proceeds to the causes mentioned above.

This is a great opportunity to help people; help you and it's a lot of fun and a great way to meet people all over the community!

NEW! - JNN 50/50 PROGRAM

You have been asking how you can help, here's what we have come up with.

The Board of Directors from the JNN Foundation has come up with a way for you to help the foundation, others and yourself.

Beginning January 9, 2004 we want to pay you to help us. We will pay you 50% of the dollar amount we collect for each qualifying item you send us!

Here is how the program works:

  • Go to your co-workers, local businesses and other organizations tell them you are collecting used cell phones, and empty laser and inkjet cartridges.
  • Send us an e-mail list of the products you have collected. We will tell you if these items are acceptable. (Most items are acceptable no need to fret over this step). We need you to ship only qualifying items.
  • We will send you a prepaid shipping label along with a copy of the acceptable items you listed on your shipping label request.
  • If you send something that is not on the list you will not be credited for these items.
  • You will receive your payment within 30 to 45 days of our processing your shipment.
  • If you ever have any questions please feel free to call our office or send us an e-mail. You will have a response within 24hrs. Our office phone number is 407 888 8191 and the correct e-mail is jnnfound.

The JNN Foundation will provide you with the materials you need to help you with your efforts. We will have black and white printed materials for your use and our website will be full of Q&A from our reps to better serve you.

Your items must be sent to the address on the JNN prepaid shipping label or you will not receive credit for these items.

You will be acting as a representative of the JNN Foundation. The items you collect are tax deductible to the person, business or organization that has given them to you. If they want a donation letter you will have to make sure to get their name and mailing information to us and they will be sent the proper donation acknowledgement letter from the JNN office.

You will be doing this on your own as a sub contractor. You will be sent a W9 to fill out and return to us. Our office must receive your W9 form before we can send you any payment. You will receive a 1099 form at the end of each tax year so that you can report your income correctly to the IRS. You will be responsible for your own taxes.

Thanks again for helping the JNN Foundation.

If you agree to these terms and would like to help us out please print out the JNN Subcontractor Information and send the information to us via e-mail or you can mail it to us at 721 Verona St., Kissimmee, FL, 34741.

It's that simple!

Thank you for your participation! Happy Collecting! Watch our website for contests!!!!!!

HELPFUL TIPS ON COLLECTING USED CELL PHONES, EMPTY LASER & INKJET CARTRIDGES

We have had great success collecting these items by using our imagination, some phone calls and some letters.

Here is a list of places to get you started.

Local law enforcement offices. You will be surprised at the numbers of phones they have and will give to you.

College Student Volunteer Programs

Accounting offices do a ton of printing!!!! You may want to make friends with them right away as tax season is approaching. They will be very busy and going through lots of ink. Just leave them a box to remember you by and they will fill it quickly with empty cartridges.

Law offices and title companies do so much printing.

Try your neighborhood printer or publisher.

County offices, tags offices, courthouses, etc.

Lost & found departments at malls, movie theatre's, amusement parks, bus stations, train stations.

Doctor's offices.

You may want to check every cell phone store in your area. We get a lot of support there too.

Some schools already participate in these types of programs but if they don't,
They use a lot of ink!

Home parties? Do you know that when Denise got married I collect 5 cell phones and a bag of cartridges!

Make sure you let all of these people know that you will be back to collect what ever they get for you. You can make these pick ups as it fits into your schedule; they will be glad you came by to take this stuff off there hands.

TRACKING YOUR PROGRESS

You will be assigned a JNN representative number so that you can track the progress of your product; it's whereabouts and your payment status. There will be a designated spot on our website for all JNN reps to check the status of their progress. We will also post contest up there too! From time to time will be offering prizes for the most items collected etc.

Also be sure to check the website for success stories and tips on collecting these items!
