Dear AJ,
THANK YOU!!! On behalf of The Bob Beamon Golf & Tennis Classic,
Bob Beamon, our Make-A-Wish guest, our winning bidders and the children
at The Children's Place at Home Safe I would like to thank you very
much for your time on May 12, 2003 at the private dinner you hosted
at the Boca Resort & Club.
You may recall you were a once-in-a-lifetime auction item at our
2002 event in that you had agreed through Bill Fernandez to host
a private dinner party for our winning bidders. The $5,000 the winning
bidders paid to have the exciting opportunity to have dinner with
you went a long way towards helping many abused, abandoned, neglected
and even HIV+ children in Palm Beach County.
It is only through the generous support of celebrities like you
that we can help many kids take the leap into life through the proper
care, education and housing of so many children in need. It takes
a great deal of resources to make this happen and because of you
we were able to get that much closer to our goal.
Our winning bidders Scott Adams and Greg Talbott who are also longtime
supporters of ours were absolutely thrilled by your charm and friendly
attitude with their children and guests. The kids are still talking
about the fact that you even sang a song for them! They said you
went way out of your way to make them feel special and that you
stayed longer then what was expected and gave of yourself in ways
that they could not imagine. They were extremely pleased as are
we that you were so accommodating.
AJ we really want to sincerely thank you very much. The Bob Beamon
Golf & Tennis Classic 2003 takes place on October 16-17, 2003
if you would like to play golf in one of our corporate foursomes
you are more than welcome to do so. I believe Bill indicated that
you sometimes golf with Alice Cooper and we would love to have him
