Dear Bob,
It is with great pleasure that I forward the enclosed check for $27,000 to you for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. This money represents the total net ticket sales proceeds from the A.J. McLean as Johnny Suede event at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. You should have already received a check for $5,500, which was raised in the silent auction of a Hard Rock Live leather jacket signed by A.J. and Johnny. These funds combined with Time Warner Communications’ check for $10,000 brings the total funds raised from the event to $42,500!
All of us involved in the event including Pete, Denise, A.J. and myself are proud to assist VH1 in restoring music programs in Central Florida schools. I believe that I speak for all of us when I say that you can count on us for assistance in the future to help launch and sustain your efforts in our hometown.
It was a pleasure working with you, Jennifer and your staff and the Time Warner Communications team to make this event such a success.
