Old Cellular
for a New Beginning
Article from Recover Magazine, Dec/Jan 2003, by Elisa Varian
The Johnny No
Name Foundation has joined forces with the Lisa Merlin House in
an effort to help them succeed with their mission to help women
to become whole people and reunite with their families after going
through treatment for a alcohol and / or substance abuse.
"Old Cellular
for a New Beginning" is a program based on the collection of
old cell phones from shelters, corporations and individuals. They
donate a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of these phones
to charities such as: The Lisa Merlin House, VH1's Save the Music
Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
If you would
like to become involved in this project visit their website at www.johnnyno-name.com
(Old Cellular for a New Beginning page).
You can send your unwanted cell phone to:
Old Cellular for a New Beginning
c/o JNN Foundation
721 Verona St.
Kissimmee FL 34741.
This is a tax
deductible donation. If you provide your return address with the
unwanted cell phones, you will receive an autographed photo of Backstreet
Boys' AJ McLean as our thanks.
